Although the city of Darjeeling Hill is a small, densely populated area, the Darjeeling district extends over 3,000 square kilometers and offers some of the best hiking trails in the world.
Tour Overview
Where else can you get a beautiful picture of four of the five highest peaks in the world, including Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Lhotse, all in one piece? And that while you walk through the green meadows and dense forests that are rich in flowers such as rhododendrons, magnolia, orchids and varieties of wild flowers.
Daywise Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Trek Begins
Darj - Manebhanjang – Tumling (3010m in Nepal). Overnight stay at family run guest house.
Day 2 Kalpokhri
After breakfast starts trek to Kalpokhri (3108 m)
The trek takes approximately 13 km / 06 hours.
From Tonglu, the path descends to Giribas before taking a steep climb to Kalpokhari for about 6 km.
The path runs through bamboo forests and rhododendron forest where the rare Red Panda and Tragopan live.
Overnight in tent.
Day 3 To Sandakphu
After breakfast you head to Sandakphu. Accommodation in tents.
Day 4 Trek to Gurdung
Breakfast at the hotel and Trek to Gurdung.
Gurdung: From Sandakphu trek to Gurdung is 16 km and stiff descent through the Malinga Bamboo and Rodhodran forest. This place is very good for wildlife and for bird lovers. Gurdung is a small village and do their own organic cultivation.
Accommodation in tents.
Day 5 Trek to Rimbick and return to Darjeeling
After breakfast start trek.
The trek goes gradually downhill to Sirikhola past villages and farmland and then all the way uphill through the forest to Rimbick.
Later drive from Rimbick to Darjeeling 56 km 3 hours approximately.
Stay overnight in hotel.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
